They say, "All amazing love stories start with Italian food!" The origin and truth of that statement is unknown, but it is true for this couple! AND that one old Disney movie with the two dogs and pasta or something like that.
What unfolds from this moment on will become the best things these two young individuals could have ever imagined!
Cloid had asked Akunna out for dinner and he was so nervous throughout the dinner, he hardly ate his food. The conversation and food was great though so they decided to hit the town, into the streets of downtown Tempe!!

You might be wondering, "Who the heck drew those two perfect images of the pianists/singers that played that night of their first date?" Well young reader, the left person was drawn by an amazingly talented and beautiful woman. And the right person was drawn by some guy who wished he at least had the artistic ability of a 5th grader.
After more fun conversation and uncovering how similar the couple's sense of humor is, they had a little friendly competition of drawling. At the time, the winner was mercifully crowned to Cloid, but legend has it that it's debated on to this day....
The night was still young. The unforgettable time spent there and friendly competition sparked the fire in their eyes to try to win again and for each other! 😍😍
So off to across the street to 'Snakes and Lattes', the young individuals went. 🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♀️💨
It was time to Duel! ⚔️ At Snakes and Lattes ⚔️
The fire in their eyes raged on and the couple played the most exciting and fun board game a fresh building friendship/relationship would play. 'Monopoly'! Just kidding, they did not really do that, but can you imagine? This budding relationship and story would have ended abruptly 😅
Their real first game was good old 'Connect 4'. We won't say who was winning 'Connect 4' if we don't say who was winning the other game played 'Blockus'. After playing the final game, winner picked which shot of liquor to take for them both. They decided on Tequila (one of their both favorite spirits). It didn't go down that smooth, but the whole date had been so it was A-OK!
Some more great laughs and admiration for each other started to form after seeing how each other played to win even for a first date 😀
Cloid was pleasantly surprised to see how much a beautiful lady like Akunna was into actually playing board games.
With spirits high and lovely feelings still soaring to the moon, they walked their way to their final activity for the night. Dancing!!!
Destination: Unknown, 💃🏽 Time Had: OUT OF THIS WORLD 🕺🏽
The couple didn't know where they were going next physically and metaphorically after leaving 'Snakes and Lattes' but they were in the most beautiful moment that lead to something greater than ever imagined.
Believe it or not, Cloid could not dance. Believe or believe it, Akunna can dance.
Shocking right?! Well how about this, can you believe Cloid just start going to dance lessons once a week to learn Salsa just before meeting Akunna?
Can you believe that dancing was suppose to be the original date night idea that Cloid offered to take Akunna out on?
Well it was all true, but they weren't doing the lessons that night so what was meant to be, beautifully happened.
Once the couple were done dancing the night away and it was time to leave going down the stairs and Mill Ave to head to 'A Mountain' parking lot. Cloid picked up this angel from above for the first time. Little did he know he'll be happily doing it for the rest of their lives.
He gave her a piggy back down the steps of the dance club. Followed by a joking suggestion from Akunna to take her back all the way down their cars. She didn't think he could or would even attempt to, but he did. At least he tried 😅. After ALMOST doing the piggy back ride all the way down, they said their first goodnight and parted ways after an unforgettable eventful first date. 💙💙
